Career & Technical Education

Career and Technical Education (CTE)courses at Connections High School will prepare students for a wide range of jobs requiring varying levels of education including high school, post-secondary certifications, two and four year degrees.

CTE courses utilize a hands-on style of learning that promotes technical skills attainment (TSA) and helps students gain an understanding of how academic concepts are used in the workplace.    The CTE courses at Connections will also help students learn about, explore, and prepare for a career.

Many CTE programs are designed to be the first part of a program of study that continues for up to two years beyond high school at a state technical college or community college.    The CTE courses at Connections will offer opportunities for students to earn college credits during high school and many offer community and service-learning components as part of the course.
